The RomantiX had a lovely day at the Rural Past Times Show. The weather was hot hot hot as was the music!
Our slot was 8-10pm and we lined up with Neil on vocals/guitar, Dave Friend on lead guitar, Van Greg on synthesiser, Geoff Trickey on bass and Ivor Sewsanker on drums.
We even saw Pete Phipps playing with the Heymakers (Glitter Band) who were awesome! Shout out to Rob from the Heymakers for being kind enough to lend Van Greg his keyboard stand (yes, he forgot it!) and had a super stressful time wondering what to do! Thanks Rob!
We also saw Albatross and Pretty Kachina β both superb!
The Pett Level Independent Rescue Boat Sea Shanty group sang some shanties before we went on.
The popular Bandeoke was great fun, so another shout out to Sarah for some great performances and brilliant organising. Certainly a popular slot for the general public who could sing a song with a full band behind you.
Last but not lease THANK YOU JOCKπ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ for doing the sound in oven conditions on both days! Well done all!
All profits go to charity with the Hospice in the Weald being our chosen charity.
