The RomantiX played at The King William IV, Pembury near Tunbridge Wells, Kent. This was our second gig here having been booked up after our November 2025 gig.
Lining up with Neil on vocals/guitar, Dave Friend on lead guitar, Van Greg on synthesiser, Geoff Trickey on bass and Ivor Sewsanker on drums. Our slot was 8.30pm – 10.30pm and it was hot balmy night again with the beer gardens full. We played in the main pub where bands usually play, quite cosy but workable.
Neil and Geoff had been playing in the afternoon with Jump Right In at Chiddingly near Heathfield, so came straight from that gig.
There was a nice atmosphere which is usual at The King William IV and the audience really got going during the second set.
We played again our three new songs: Peter Gunn, Enola Gay and Living on the Ceiling and they went well with our performances of these songs maturing.
